If you are anything like me, the beginning of fall is more than a breath of fresh air, it's a form of euphoria! The smell of the crisp leaves as they begin to change and fall, all the beautiful colors that look like a hand painted landscapes, big bulky sweaters and boots without the fear of sweating to death, and of course pumpkin everything! 

DIY Crab Apple Jelly Recipe

It's finally fall, y'all! This time of year makes my soul sing, don't you try to tell me I'm alone! I love everything there is about fall time, the colors, scents, the changing of the weather, babies crunching leaves and the unlimited amounts of deserts!

Crab apple jelly has always been a favorite of mine, but I haven't had any in years. My soul was indeed, sad. This year I decided enough was enough and went and picked the only crab apple tree there is in town and we made out with a pretty good bunch! After letting the boys visit their grandparents, we went home so I could get to work! Heavens knows it couldn't wait another day! (Side note, it was 9 pm!) After many requests to release my recipe, I've decided to make a tutorial! Most people shy away from making their own jellies and jams nowadays for store bought ones because they think it's an overly difficult process, but it's really not! Plus you know exactly what goes in them and gives such satisfaction and pride to see someone drooling over your delicious creation! Let's get started, shall we?

Getting rid of those nasty potty stains

My family of four has a favorite bathroom, the other one for who-knows what reason, gets left unattended more often than not. Everyone knows a toilet isn't meant to sit unattended, otherwise it gets grimy and moldy. Wellll I forgot about that! I tried to scrub it with a scrub brush but it was so hard to come off that I gave up and walked away. (This sat for MAYBE 2 weeks tops and got this bad!) Remember that DIY cleaner I posted about? That cleaned it no problem!! I just thoroughly sprayed the bowl, let sit for 5 minutes and wiped it down! How easy is THAT! Make your own healthier house cleaner with my tutorial here

Doesn't that look SO much better? Fit for the pope! Now mommies, no need to get grossed out and upset when your boys leave stale pee rings and mold. Works perfectly and has no harsh chemicals! Perfect for RVs, rentals and everyday use!

DIY Chemical and Ammonia Free House Cleaner

If you are anything like me, once you started making littles every decision started feeling more and more serious. Standing in the cleaning isle, my head sounded a little bit like this:

"So...this will clean and polish my floors with just one spray?

Ok but what does that word mean?

Is that even Engrish?

How many extra parts will my children grow if they eat this?
Are my children going to get cancer?

Certainly that didn't say it had butoxyethanol! That causes severe liver and kidney damage.

Oh that should be renamed 'Fields of Tumors'...

That's it! We're never cleaning again!"

But of course, as a wife and mother to two little boys, that's not possible! So I started my research and trial and error. I made this amazing household cleaner that I am totally in love with and I think you will be too! I use it everywhere, glass, mirrors, wood tables, counters, black and chrome appliances, you name it! I've never had a cleaner that got things so clean (without having to kill my elbows) and no streaks; it was always one or the other!

Make money back from the grocery store

If you are anything like me, you loath the grocery store. It's too busy, way overpriced and drains your bank account; but your family has to eat! Y'all know me, I'm frugal at best and always looking for a new way to save a dollar (or as my husband says...cheap!)

I've tried doing the extreme couponing but it was too much math and too many paper cuts for my favor. Plus who really has the time to scavenger tons of coupon ads and print coupons? Not me! Two kids= no time for that!
I've tried meal planning, which I would advice! It really helps to gain a structure and save a little bit but I still found myself overspending.
